I have a Tumbleweed Net Install on a usb drive. I want to put a Live version on the drive in place of the current files. I cannot delete the data on the drive. It is a permissions issue. I can’t change permissions either. I want to run the live version on a problem pc.
@Prexy just use imagewriter for an openSUSE Live USB, it will overwrite when required.
Thank you. I’m using an older “backup” computer and it did’t have Imagewriter or k3b installed. I’m sure there are lots more that I didn’t realize were missing and didn’t remember what they did for me!
@malcolmlewis I installed imagewriter and got the Live USB working. It runs a bit slow but everything works.
This is @Prexy . I am posting from the live usb and I couldn’t remember my stored password so I ended up creating a new account. I made a list of files that makes this usb run my displays properly. I will find the other thread to post them.
