ok, so i have windows installed on a 250gb harddrive in a 100gb partition, so there is roughly 130gb left unpartitioned/empty.

so i place dvd in drive, boot live version…
resolution/video recognition problem. ???

so i choose the drivers and resolution to a decent size, apply and boot, black screen of death!

install, hangs and fails.

please email me with a solution if you could as coming on here is a one off, working alot of the time.

also please note that my motherboard bios is OEM and is ****, been flashed by packard bell to restricted capicity (well thats what i think as ACPI functions etc are not available)

email =

thank you, appreciate your time and effort, shame i cant get this working, looks like a fantastic version.

Try removing the external video card and installing without it. Also choose a resolution of say 800x600 and vga=normal as a boot option.
