Hello.
I previously installed Tumbleweed on my computer and due to Nouveau issues I have attempted to perfrom a new install. I downloaded a fresh DVD medium. During the installation boot process I receive the following error message:

1.205006] NET: Registered protocol family 2
Then the system hangs. Is there a workaround for this. I have two installation DVD’s both have the same issue.

Googling your error,
The most common cause is a faulty download.
You can/should verify the checksum of the DVD image (There should be an option to do this easily when you first boot the DVD).
Else, there is a link to the checksum (get it at same time as ISO download, else there may be a change) if you wish to run the checksum manually.

Thank you for your reply. I do not believe that is the problem. One of the DVD’s was previously used to install Tumbleweed. Regardless of which of the two DVD’s I attempt to use for installation I have the same problem.
