I have checked the forums and found that it can be as easy as starting up Yast and installing gnome base and gnome desktop. Sadly, when I look in Yast, neither of the packages are there. It shows all sorts of other gnome packages like games, education, etc… But no gnome base and no gnome desktop. Could someone shoot me a repository or tell me what I am doing wrong? When I get home I will shoot you screen prints of all the repositories I have added. Basically I have all added but kde 4, ATI (last time I added the kde 4 it updated and then my box crashed)

Are you choosing ‘Patterns’ under the Filter section of Software Management?
Good luck.
