I just used the live image (13.2) on a usb stick, I was installing from the live desktop and I noticed that there may be an issue if the screensaver triggers. Is this likely and where would I mention it?

You can report on the bugzilla. It might be a graphics driver problem.
My suggestion: Sit in front of the computer while it is installing, and move the mouse or hit a shift key every so often so that the screensaver does not trigger.
When you have an installed system, run online updates to be sure that it is fully up to date. Then, if you are still having a problem, that would be when to open a bug report.
