install eclipse

I had download the eclipse galileo-php for 32 bit from eclipse site. Extract the archive file and put it in the KDE 4.1.2 desktop in openSUSE 11.1 linux server machine. Have installed the JRE in the machine previously after put the folder click on the eclipse file it will ask for workspace area and the eclipse loading screen will show and after that process stopped in that Will not show the workspace window. Have anyone face this problem have any idea abt that please help me.

Try to start Eclipse from the command line. If you installed it to the directory eclipse/ then execute:

./eclipse

inside this directory.
Post here the error messages.
