install 11.3 from de dvd or cd

if I install the version 11.3 from the DVD, I installed by default the same software as you would on the cd?

The dvd has much more software available during the installation. With the cd, it would only be available after the install.

With the DVD, you get more choice during the installation; with the CD, you get only one desktop and you then have to download more packages to make it complete. But, if you only want one desktop and the standard packages, then the time to download the CD plus the remaining packages after installation will be less than the time to download the DVD.
