please help me, i can not install firebirdsql 2.1.1 on opensuse11.1,
any idea?
I do have ideas, but not about this, at least not from the minimal info you give.
I’m using firebird on my main machine. You need to enable the openSUSE Databases repo, if you wnat the openSUSE packages, but there’s also the installers provided by firebird.
Please post some more about your system (see my signature) and about how far you’re getting, messages etc… Don’t have much time today, but I’ll try to help you through. It’s working perfectly here, so it should be possible to get it working for you as well
