Hi All,
I am just upgrading one of our servers, and am trying to get opensuse 11 x64 talking to a SCSI tape device using INITIO A100U2W scsi controllers.
Now I see the A1002uw driver in the kernel sources, but I can’t seem to be able to load it, nor does it automatically load.
From what I can tell (which is not much), its not compiled in to the kernel. which seems strange to me, since it worked like a treat on the old 32 bit 10.2.
Can anyone provide some pointers in how to get a kernel with it compiled and loaded, given the driver is in the /usr/src/linux/ directory.
Cheers
Alan
