Information about different GRUB boot options

Where can I read about the difference between the three grub boot options, which are created, when I install openSUSE 13.2? I.e. were can I read about the difference between line 1, which is just openSUSE, line 2, which allows some boot parameters to be set, and line 2, which include xen. I am especially curious about xen.

I am not really interested in the inner workings of GRUB2, but just about learning to use the different lines in the menu.

Regards, Niels

Did you install Xen??

Also is this Grub 1 or Grub 2

When you reach the stage of the installation that summarizes everything — just before installation commences — double click on the Boot Manager heading. This shows a fair bit of detail of the boot settings you are about to implement.

You are forced to know about the inner workings to some extent. That way you can see what each line is saying, i.e. what disk number is configured - and its respective kernel and initrd.
