Incus is the new LXD since canonical took it over and now you cannot install anything with it but Ubuntu. There is no install packages for it in opensuse either.
Did you try any of this way including the native builds?
yeah I tried to build it from source and the directions aren’t even close to being correct for suse.
to get this installed?
I assume you would draw the attention of those who have any idea about the product you want to install when had mentioned that name instead of “this” in the title.
Two options you can use:
- I have RPMs on OBS for incus/tumbleweed amd64 and arm64 here:
Show home:cmspam:branches:home:MaxxedSUSE / incus - openSUSE Build Service
I’m not really happy with the above, though as workaround needed to be used to get it building properly. Hopefully there will be an official package soon. If you have a look at the spec file, it should help you successfully build it yourself, as well.
- You can run it in docker/podman (great for MicroOS)
Docker
(incus-docker-lts also available)
