increasing mouse resize edge (KDE, Xfce and maybe other WMs)

Hi,

Not sure if this is the right forum to post this question, but hopefully someone will know, or be able to point me to the right direction.

Currently I’m using KDE and I noticed that when resizing a window, the mouse cursor needs to be positioned very precisely, often the resize edge is only a few pixels wide. This is very inconvenient and would like to increase it. I noticed that if I increase the window edge with, the width of the mouse resize edge also grows, but this is not what I’m looking for.

Any tips?

Thanks,
Gábor

At least for KDE’s default window decoration this can only be changed by setting the window border size.
You can try a different window decoration though if you want.
I have no idea about other window managers though.

Or press Alt and right-click anywhere in the window to resize it (this should also work with other WMs).

Too bad about the apparently hard-coded resize edge value. Thanks for the Alt+RightClick tip!
