Inaccurate instructions for restoring your password

Hey,
I could barely restore my password when reading this in my letter:

To reset your password:
** 1. Select “Can’t access your account” link on the login page.**
2. Select “Forgot” then “Forgot Password” from the left menu.
3. Enter your username and click “Continue”.
4. Enter the security answer from this email and insert your new password and click “Finish”.

and this in your FAQ article:

To change your forum password, go to the openSUSE Wiki page while not logged in: openSUSE Wiki
*** Click on the SIGN UP link (not Login) in the upper right corner**

  • On the resultant page, left menu, click EDIT ACCOUNT
  • On that page click CAN’T ACCESS YOUR ACCOUNT?
  • That should be the Forgot Password process. If not, there on the left menu, click FORGOT and select PASSWORD.

I won’t even remark that there isn’t “Sign up” link on the main page, it’s “Register”, well- This matters for not-so-god****-good English speakers. If anybody cares please bring these things into some kind of compliance, thank you.

Thanks for the feedback, we’ll get someone to look into it. With the
changes in ownership of our sponsoring company, I’m sure some things have
changed that got missed.

Thanks so much for this post. I just spent the last HOUR, including calling the support number (as it says in the email) to no avail. I decided to google in depth. BTW the google search query was: “opensuse cannot reset +forums password -root”
