I am accessing the forums through the nntp service. I am using KNode as the client. However, I am unable to create new threads from KNode though I am able to reply to posts through the client. Is it my ignorance that is stopping me or something else? Enlighten me. Thank you.

Give more detail on that please. What happens when you try? I use Knode
and am able to create new threads. Others are using NNTP with various
clients and are able to create new threads.
Can you double check the NNTP settings? It seems as though some threads and response are not being updated on the web forum but they are viewable via NNTP. Case in point everything above this sentence was sent via NNTP 15 minutes ago and it never arrived so I pasted it here.

Seems to work for me. (see other thread).
Can you see my post ?
If so, when you create a message and sent it, does it show up in the Outbox
or Sent folders ?

My NNTP settings are fine.
