Hi,
I am using opensuse 12.1.
I had configure my user account in Thunderbird, from Friday all of a sudden i am facing the problem
when ever i try to login its asking for password, if i give password it tells login failed.
But i tried login in web-mail through browser. Its login in successfully.
is there any thunderbird log files to check???
please help. .
And you have tried resetting the password in Thunderbird?
Yes i tried resetting the password.
also i removed all the saved password going to preferences and security tabs.
But no luck. . 
is there any error logs which i can check???
Have you tried renaming .thunderbird
And starting anew?
Yes actually i removed the .thunderbird folder itself. Because my mails will be in server.
And started newly and again created a account, But still the same issuse. .
What type of account is it?
Was it working previously?
Yes it was working fine, from Friday i am facing the problem.
and it is Microsoft exchange account.
I don’t know what support is like
Though I did at one time connect to a MS Exchange myself
IIRC it was IMAP

I should have added
It required the admin of the exchange to set IMAP and permissions for me.
