ImPS/2 BYD Trackpad lacking 3-button emulation

So I have this laptop DELL LATITUDE E5470 with the following trackpad but I cannot enable 3-button click emulation (KDE even says I DONT have a trackpad). A USB mouse /with/ a scrollwheel and actual third button works fine with three button emulation automagically:

[Edit: USB Mice work just fine in contrast to the built in track pad. The builtin track pad works with scrolling (IN THE WRONG DIRECTION!!) and tapping for right button click.]

This is not an openSUSE-specific issue, (ie not supported by current kernel yet), and a bug report is likely required to get this addressed.
