immiment drive failure reported

Suse 12.1 - newly installed - reports a “high re-allocated sector count” (ie sectors which have failed and been transferred to a reserved (spare) area) and suggests imminent disc failure of my main drive… which dual boots both Suse and M/S Windows!
Question - if I clone this drive in order to retain both O/S software and data, will the re-allocated sectors still be re-allocated on the cloned drive. It is after all a complete mirror image.
I don’t want to re-install both Operating Systems if I can clone and replace.
Thanks for reading.

No, they will not.

The remapped sectors appear to the computer as if they were the original sectors, in the
original place. Only the HD knows where they are really placed.

Many thanks, could save me a lot of trouble.
