i downloaded image writer and it doesnt detect my usb drive, it is working fine my window detected it, but image writer doesnt. Why is that? anyone help? =
Be sure to unmount it before trying to write the image.
When I use it imagewriter fails to unmount the stick.
I use gparted to unmount it then I tell imagewriter to write the iso.

What platform are you running it on, and what version of the
Imagewriter?

What platform and version of the imagewriter? If you’re using openSUSE
11.4, upgrading to imagewriter 1.9 (from the 11.4 updates repository)
should fix any unmount problems.
