Image compressing

Im wondering, is there any linux image compresser that could compress a whole folder at a time??

I know GIMP can compress 1 at a time, but that would take me ages.

A GUI interface would be my preference, but if not meh :stuck_out_tongue:

Command line and the convert command from imagemagik?

I found a GUI called SuperImageResizer which did just what i wanted

Digikam can do batch operations. Fire it up, and then from the “Tools” menu chose “Batch Queue Manager.” Or, select a number of images and add them to said manager via context menu.

Also Gwenview, in the Plugins>Batch processing>recompress menu option.
