Hi All,
It’s Thanksgiving here in the US & I just want to say how thankful I am for Opensuse & this forum.
I was quite the distro hopper until 10.2 I’ve been solidly with OpenSuSe ever since. This has been the distro has given me the fewest problems & has been the most dependable of all the Linuxes(?)that I’ve used. As such I’ve had no need for windows for… for… well it’s been a long time! OpenSuse made that possible, for which I’m very thankful.
Then there is this forum, it is very rare that I can’t get a question I have answered here be it either by asking or by search.
You guys here have made it so that I need to ask fewer questions, because I learn from you how to do it myself. Then as I learn I contribute what I’ve been taught here to the new ones.
I’m thankful for all of you.
So to all of the members of this forum & any of the devs who may read this:
I’ll second that. I have been a happy camper ever since SuSE 9.1. This community has always been helpful. It’s a great place to learn. It’s a great place to give back and help others with what you have learned. Right here in this forum, we have people from all over the world, pulling together for one common goal. It’s a beautiful thing. I have come to know some wonderful folks here. Many friends are made in this community. I am thankful for that.

i didn’t find it until 9.x (don’t recall which) before then bounced
around in RH, Fedora, Mandrake, and other lessor knowns…
am thankful i found SuSE and its offspring…but, dang it do not like
KDE4, yet…i’m not sure openSUSE is headed in a way that i can hang
in with…but, i am thankful for the ride, so far…
We are thankful to see that you are doing well. It’s been a while. You should not be a stranger. You can still hang out here and run Debian. You know we won’t hold running an inferior operating system against you. rotfl!
