Last version of linux I messed with was RH9, so give me the play by play killing those clams!!!
THANKS
S
Also I’m not sure I have three instances of it running, I think I might just have 3 icons for it in the system tray. i.e. if I enable auto-update on one of the icons it shows enabled on all 3 icons (if that makes sense).
aas pointed out above, you could kill the process in ksysguard. but, unless you are running a server or anything which shares files to windows machines…is there a need for anti-viruses?
If you have email contacts with users or windows, you would unwittingly be a virus vector. So the socially responsible thing is to have a virus scanner. But I can’t find one that works for me in Linux without a WHOLE LOT of inconvenience. Tried this one but didn’t have the requisite university qualifications. So I don’t have one.
