I'm a new guy and I need help

This is the message I get when I go to the download page:
Pease note that the internet explorer (all versions) is not capable of handling files larger then 4GB
This means you will not be able to download the DVD images useing IE
Please use a different browser or downloadmanager
That is the bigest reason why I have not downloaded the DVD image before.

That is the biggest drawback to downloadind the DVD image. Again you can’t install any thing on a library computer.

What version of Windows is on the stations? I can assure you that IE is
certainly capable of downloading files > 4 GB if the filesystem supports
it.

If you still have problems with it, grab a copy of cygwin, stick that on
a flash drive, and use wget as a portable download manager. It’s command-
line, but it doesn’t require an installation on the system (which will
keep the library staff happy).

OR alternatively, you can follow the suggestion that I’ve made twice now
and order an inexpensive DVD online. You have spent more time trying to
download the repositories file-by-file and debating about being able to/
not being able to download the ISO and could have saved ALL of that time
by spending the $5 or so and just ordering the DVD through Distrowatch.
