I have just install the openSUSE 11.2. During install several error messages were shown. “I/O error” and “Error 2”. The operating system works normally but icons of files and toolbar buttons are not shown. What should I do?
Sorry for my mistakes if there is, I’m from Russia. I’m a novice and I need help!

Perhaps the reading of the media (cd/dvd) failed during the install so some
files might not have been installed. There is no way of telling (from here)
what is wrong…
Did you check the checksum of the iso after downloading it?
Did you check the media?
The easiest thing would be to reinstall after you have checked the above.
Thanks for your answers. I understand that the system is not installed correctly. It can be caused by bad downloading or bad burning. I did not look at the checksum of the image of the system because the checking of the system (by resources of one) shows that the disc is bad.
I can re-download the system or re-burn it. But if there is more simple way for solving this problem I want to use it.
How I can run Yast? (I am not a novice in computer technologies and programming but I know very little about Linux, please help me!)
