icecream and precompiled headers compatibility

Hi all,

Are precompiled headers supported with IceCream?

Is there a special command or parameter to use? It seems like the other CPU from my build farm don’t have access to the result of my pch file, so they cannot build.

Thank you

i can’t answer you, but i think the persons who might be able to would
want to know exactly what operating system and version are you running?
this will tell:

cat /etc/SuSE-release

and, they might even want to know your version of icecream (or has it
never changed?)

Adding to DenverD, I realy wonder if this is an Install/Boot problem. Looks more like a Programming/Scripting one. Though I may be wrong here, but your vague description without any facts does not make it easy to understand.

Seeing that this is your first post, do not get disappointed with our answers. You are welcome here. But we are eager to help and thus are as eager to get real information.

It’s icecream 0.9.4 and I use Ubuntu 10.04

My OS is Ubuntu 10.04.

Thank you

I assume that you are prepared for the next question: Why do you ask here at openSUSE while using Ubuntu?

see here: http://en.opensuse.org/Icecream where you should be able to
find documentation to supplement that which came with the package you
installed…

but, if you don’t find the answer you seek, there is an email address on
that page to connect you to the developer…

You’ll want to ask this in the Ubuntu forums - these forums are openSUSE
forums, which is a different distribution of Linux than the one you’re
using.

It seems, he means this: Icecream - openSUSE annd that is apparently supported on Linux in general (and also on other OSs).

@bsboy82. The fact that it is an openSUSE product does not mean that many people here use it or know much of it. In any case you can wait a bit until people had a change to read this around the globe.

I also notice that this is your second thread about this subject, your first one is in Install/Boot/Login (which wasn’t the best place imho). But we also hate double posts for the simple reason that there are now two discussions going on in different places where people may not notice what happens in the other one. Thus I am going to merge these in due time.

There is a new thread in Programming/Scripting. I am going to merge this one in there.

Threads merged.

OIC, I’d not heard of it before. Thanks for clarifying and merging the
threads.
