iBus notification popup warning

I am running Tumbleweed with KDE Plasma Wayland and I have been getting popups with iBus warnings. AS far as I can tell I ahve

  • InputMethod=...IBus.Panel.Wayland.Gtk3.desktop → correct
  • QT_IM_MODULES=wayland;ibus → expected on openSUSE Plasma Wayland
  • XMODIFIERS=@im=ibus → expected from the openSUSE helper
  • QT_IM_MODULE=ibus → the bad leftover that is triggering the warning popup

Should I just ignore this or is there a fix/bug?
