Hello,
I have some Problem with Ibus Pinyin, when I try to enter something in Libreoffice. It will first work and I can enter chinese characters for a short time, after I have written some characters or after I changed to some other program window and then back to Libreoffice, the input method simply stop to work, and i just can enter Latin characters, but in other Programs like Firefox, Thunderbird, Konsole, Ibus is still working fine. Ibus just don’t work in Libreoffice but in all other Programs it is just fine.
I use Kde on Opensuse 12.1 x86-64
My system:
OS: Linux 3.1.9-1.4-desktop x86_64
系統: openSUSE 12.1 (x86_64)
KDE: 4.7.4 (4.7.4)
Ibus: 1.4.0-6.1.2
Libreoffice : 3.4.5.5-1.1
Seem like a libreoffice-kde bug
You can file a bugzilla
I always use libreoffice-gnome as a work-around
install libreoffice-gnome
then add
OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=gnome
in ~/.profile
Sorry it is still doesn’t working, the same like before. But when I have Installed Libreoffice-gnome from this repository : Index of /repositories/LibreOffice:/Stable/openSUSE_12.1 yast also make update to 3.4.5.5-1.1.
should I try it with the original version 3.4.2 ?

You should have all from the same repo and version. The idea, if I
understand correctly, is that you remove the LO-kde part to force it to use
the gnome part even if you are running KDE.
It would make sense to update to the newer version everything, if it is a
bug it might have been corrected.

using a vanilla install of Opensuse 12.1 KDE with ibus from the standard repo I do not have the same problem as you. It works flawlessly for me along with anthy in libreoffice.
