I have IBM T43, After installation of xp pro sp2 when i install display driver after restart of system screen come blank, i enter in safe mode and then install monitor driver but problem remain same.
You are describing a Windows issue. Why are you posting in a Linux forum?

Don’t listen to caf4926. Go to Software.openSUSE.org, download openSUSE 11.1 and install. Your problems may go away
