Since then nvidia has come out with the 304.37 drivers & this’ll be the one a noob will get at the download page. This completely obsoletes the instructions in my original post. On the good side with this new driver the steps are much simpler, & I have a rewrite that is 90% done.
Therein lies my question what can be done with the post using the old drivers & what of the new?
You could delete the thread.
Or instead you could put an introductory sentence in the opening post of the existing thread stating that the method is obsolete, lock the thread and leave it for its historical interest. But if you are going to write another version, to leave the existing thread might cause confusion for noobs.

The rewrite is now ready, as soon as the 259 one is gone I’ll put in the 304 one.
