Where did you download and save openSUSE .iso to on your computer?
I don’t know what more I can do for you as you seem to be having difficulty understanding the very basics of this. Thank heavens you ain’t installing it to a real HD

I’m very sorry caf4926, I’m just new to Linux so I don’t know, I just clicked the “New” button when I did this and put in all the necessary info. Maybe my teacher can help me tell you all where it is. I’m heading to school in a couple minutes so when I get there and all that, I’ll ask him. Thanks and I’ll be back on here soon.
Hi, I’m back, my teacher said openSUSE Linux 11.4 might not be compatible with my hardware but I haven’t put anything new in it, like no new hard drive, etc. It’s the original stuff, if you guys forgot, the laptop is a Toshiba L655-s5096. Here is a link I found while searching on google for: “download .iso file for opensuse linux in virtualbox”
Here is the link:
OpenSUSE 11.3 on VirtualBox - Guest Additions
It’s for 11.3, but it should work for 11.4. P.S., I get the kernel error when trying to just install it. Thanks.
I thought you were trying to install openSUSE as VM guest in a Windows host?
That link at section 5 shows how to mount the SUSE .iso as a virtual CD

Yes, I am trying to install openSUSE as a VM guest in a Windows host. I just thought that link would of helped me, maybe I read through it too quick, so I guess that wouldn’t help me… Thanks for telling me.
