I have a problem with USB installation

I am new to openSUSE and a very limited user of Linux, and I am trying to install the lastest version of openSUSE using a USB Drive. I have gotten as far as rebooting and picking where the install is coming from and I pick the USB and the file extension of where the install is located. The setup starts to go through 6 steps, and makes it through 3 steps and then stops and says “The boot/i386/branding is incorrect” I have no idea what this means and if anyone could help I would appreciate it!

Do you mean pendrive, or USB hard drive?

And are you using the DVD, or the Live CD?

Would perhaps help if you told us which instructions you’re following.
