I get this error when I try to do an online update

Opensuse 13.2


Download (curl) error for 'http://download.opensuse.org/update/13.2-non-oss/repodata/repomd.xml':
Error code: Connection failed
Error message: Failed to connect to download.opensuse.org port 80: Connection timed out

There is actually more but this seems like a clear snapshot.

Additionally, it seems to be nearly impossible to gently shut this down when it gets stuck in this endless loop.

Well, I also had severe problems contacting download.opensuse.org today, and I couldn’t even reach the forums for a short while.
It seems to work fine at the moment though.

There seems to have been problems at their end.

Just be patient until the issues are solved completely.
