I get incorrect password error, when I type the correct password

Hi,
I have a little issue with WiFi on my freshly installed openSUSE 13.1.
The thing is it detects my wifi card with no problem, and I am able to connect to my work’s wifi, but back in home, I enter the password over and over again it is a wrong password, when it isn’t. What extra information should I provide for you guys to be able to figure out what to do?

Thanks in advance.

The security setting must match, so check that again In NetworkManager. On occasion I have just removed the entry and created it again. On occasion I have switched to ifup method in YaST, making sure all was right.

Thank You,

Worked perfectly, on first attempt! Don’t know why I didn’t think about doing this before

Thanks so much for your help!

It is good to hear of success. I was very happy to help.

Thank You,

OK so now the problem has come back for apparently no reason, and now deleting and creating again the connection won’t fix the issue. Do you have any idea why this happens? I would appreciate some help.

Are you using a password manager to store the security passphrase? System connection?

Maybe the advice here will help

Chapter 25. Using NetworkManager | ActiveDoc

In particular, refer to section ‘25.7.2 Storing Passwords and Credentials #’

Didn’t change anything, and returned back to normal, but it’s actually kinda annoying that it stops working and then works again…

Try pulling the power-plug of your wifi router, wait for a minute, then re-plug the powerchord.
