Welcome to the forums sufianahmed. I’m not sure where you’re getting stuck, but it may helpful to provide more info, so that others can assist.
- The first step is to identify whether your device is recognised by the kernel. Plug the device in, then execute this command
dmesg|tail
ls /dev/ttyUSB*
What is reported? Post the output here.
- Assuming /dev/ttyUSBx is created, then the next step is to configure. Many devices are supported by Network Manager. If not, then a traditional dialling utility (eg qinternet or wvdial) can be used.
Which desktop environment are you using? I have seen previous threads that suggest the Gnome front-end (NetworkManager-gnome) can make a difference, but I can’t validate that personally.
and this provider is in the list of providers; so should be easy to set up
I was attempting to add a screen shot of the Network manager profile; I don’t think I am winning !
