Huawei E220 in XfCE

Hi,

I just put openSUSE 11.1 on an old laptop, thinking that the xfce would be a good match for it. And it does run nicely except for the confusion of the E220. I know gnome detects it automatically and has this nice GUI for my settings and opening the connection but in xfce I only know that it’s detected as it shows up in the system info.

After some research I found out that I could manually configure it in the yast modem dialog but I’m not sure what settings I should specify or how can I even open a modem connection in xfce?
