I can not load any forum page for hours. Other pages load fine.
With “links” (text mode) it loads.

Yes, I deleted cookies.

With seamonkey it loads after sometime, but the arrows turning indicating
“loading” do not stop, and the mouse has the little clock arrow, so it
never finishes loading. This is similar to firefox, which displays even
less of the page, never ending the load.
I assume if it works for you that the machine balancing load for my country
is not functioning.

I had the similar experience to you, but earlier in the evening and following another dose of database error page on trying to login. Once the database error ceases to present, the login fails to complete with Seamonkey or Firefox and the wheels just spin constantly. I give up for a few hours or a day for the problems to clear. I think it happened several times since Monday.
Same here.

It’s working perfectly fine here.
Best regards,
Greg
It’s working fine
We had some trouble over the last week though.
You know about the login now going via Novell?

More problems again today, during the last hour.
That was a very short edit timeout! Here is the rest:
More problems again today, particularly during the last hour, “Status: 504 Gateway Time-Out page” from N (means Novell?) followed by long periods of trying to contact forums.opensuse.org and whirling busy cursor. Yesterday there seemed to be various symptoms and interruptions like getting logged out frequently after short periods of inactivity, often waiting for pages to load. The reliability seems awful - the worst I can remember.
Are these all part of the same problems following recent system changes, as above? Any news, anyone?
I have this issues since this morning. Pages blocked, text lost, page not loaded, thrown out of the login without any reason. I hope you are working hard on something that is worth it. As I write there are again discontinuities. Regards.
Yes, I forgot to mention the lost input text, and that is so annoying and frustrating when combined with repetitive log outs (don’t expect the staff are getting those). Early evening was really bad. Maybe we are on a live test system.
HTTP usage is very iffy since the recent updates. I have been using the fora without login, thus without the logouts. One particular problem noticed is that the times on all posts changes by some 5 or six hours difference compared to times presented when logged in.
On a related note, I do hope that my comments on another thread regarding NNTP vs HTTP have not influenced this recent HTTP behavior problem.
About 3 hours since last post, and the HTTP access seems stabilized. The hung sessions, constant “Waiting for forums.opensuse.org” in the status kine, and the unexplained logouts appear to have ended. The session(s) still logout exactly 1 hour after login (refer to http://forums.opensuse.org/english/other-forums/forums-feedback/forums-comments-suggestions/468435-login-bug.html#post2415061). Exploring that “feature” more closely now, if the forum servers consent.
Sorry but for me this goes on. Pages do not finish to load, block at half. Content is lost. Login logout is erratic.
I had experienced all the above symptoms, up to the time of my previous posting. I am still experiencing erratic (but complete) page load times, and the unexplained, unsolicited logouts. The one-hour automatic logout persists, and when augmented with the unpredictable logouts, continue to make use of these forums difficult.
