Read this How to Determine a File Type on Linux: Using the File Command to Identify Image Files and Create HTML Files

Hello Shea68,

How would you do it on a different OS?

For simple HTML files I just use a text-editor like Kwrite, Kate, etc.
To view the result you can simple open them with any webbrowser.
Note that you can’t use server-side scripting because the webbrowser only renders the HTML page.

Best of luck!

Thanks stamosstolias, this is what I was looking for.

Always happy!!!;)

Just run it on linux. I just tried to do it in openoffice and open it and it didn’t seem to work lol.
