HPLIP-3.12.11 printing garbage

Hello,
Could someone advise me how to fix the following issue?
When I print a page through an application , e.g. okular, or print the test page via hplip status service, I just get garbage. However, through “Open printer’s web page” (launched through HPLIP status service), I get a decent test page or report page.
I just installed openSUSE12.3. It worked fine under openSUSE12.2 and its version of HPLIP.
My computer is an ACER AO722. I use KDE. my printer is an HP Photosmart C6300 series connected on my LAN. The printer is configured using HPLIP.
Thanks.
Robert

I eventually found that the driver/plugin PPD file that I selected didn’t work. The hpijs appears to not be the appropriate PPD file to be used. I replaced it by the hpcups (hp-photosmart_c6300_series.ppd.gz). Now it works.
Beside that, I also ran hp-check -t in a console to check the installation and hp-check --fix for fixing missing dependencies.

I have also found the hpijs PPD seems to be c_r_a_p now even though selected by default. I had this issue on two different HP printers I print to over my home network. So you are not alone in this discovery.

Thank You,
