I installed 3.4.11-2.16-xen on AMD 6234, it crashes randomly during the boot, same thing with the 3.4.6-xen This machine works perfectly with non xen opensuse 12.2. I first thought it was linked to grub2 problems but it’s not. I tried also to upgrade libvirt but sill.
I discovered that’s is linked to a bios setting I changed following the reading of http://developer.amd.com/Assets/51803A_OpteronLinuxTuningGuide_SCREEN.pdf
They recommend to enable hpc (as long as you have linux 3+ and xen 4.1+), which I did, this was working perfectly as long as I use the non xen kernel.
Any ideas ?
