I have an HP Spectre tablet that I purchased in 2017 (basically a Surface tablet knockoff). It has a touchscreen and a pen but neither one works in linux (also scrolling with the mutlitouch touchpad doesn’t work). All of these features work perfectly in Windows 10 and 11, so there’s nothing wrong with the device. I’m currently dual booting Win 11 and OpenSUSE Tumbleweed (KDE). Linux runs much better on this device than Windows. I’d really like to dump Windows in favor of Linux, but if the touchscreen doesn’t work then the device isn’t very useful. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to at least enable the touchscreen, if possible?
