HP Laserjet M1132 MFP - Coming up as busy.

Hi again,

In a previous thread I was having this problem. I thought it would be solved when I installed Leap 15.1. I formatted and installed my root and swap partitions and left my /home alone. I followed the instructions here https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:How_to_set-up_a_HP_printer

Thank you again in advance.

Hi
I normally get the plugin and asc file direct from: https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/plugins

If you connect to the cups interface at http://localhost:631 you should be able to check it’s status and clear the issue, or restart the cups service.

The printer seems to be reported as expected ie idle and accepting requests.

I note that you’re now using the HPLIP driver (as opposed to the last thread where you had foomatic-rip configured).

Thank you so much. All sorted now, although I don’t know how. I was getting this error https://paste.opensuse.org/51972258 yesterday and today it is printing. I haven’t even turned the machine off. Thank you again for persevering with me and the printer.

Glad to read that it is now working as expected. Well done.
