Has anyone installed opensuse 11.2 on a HP HDX16 1010ea laptop? If so I’d be keen to know how well it runs especially suspend and hybernate?
The LIVE KDE CD of 11.2 runs well but its always nice to hear it before updating a stable/work laptop.
Having used Opensuse 11.2 on the HP HDX16 and DV7 it works very well. Intel wireless and webcam is automatically working. Hibernate and sleep works too by default. The only hack needed is to get the sound working use the options=hp_dv7 or options=hp_dv5
HDMI works too with the Nvidia twinview. I havent attempted any other settings.
