HP driver

Downloaded hplip-3.9.8 and used the sh hplip-3.9.8.run cmd.
when all is said and done I have an error : error: ‘make’ command failed with status code 2
Can anyone tell me what this error means or where to find out it’s meaning?

There are HP driver with SUSE and also in Packman

What caf4926 said. I never could get the download from HP to work, either. But the one-click install (go to software.opensuse.org and use the “software search” to find it – it’s in the menu to the left, about halfway down) worked just fine for my little DeskJet D2660.
