I have been trying to install my HP C6300 seris printer to OpenSuse 12.3, but I can not get it to print. The printer is wireless and works fine in Win 7, and also ran fine in Ubuntu, and earlier on I had it working on OpenSuse 12.3, but since I reinstalled OpenSuse 12.3 can not get it to work. Not sure what I have to do, help peasse:(
Problem solved, not sure exactly how, but finally got it to work, had to changed drivers to get it to start:)
I find there is something quirky in hplip wrt my HP Photosmart Premium C309a with a network connection , in that I typically get 2 or 3 choices of the HP C309a printer driver, of which only one works. The one’s that don’t work inexplicably have my inkjet photosmart mislabeled as a laser printer in the log files. Possibly you encountered something simlar.
