You might also want to check out /proc/meminfo
ok swappiness = 10 and cache pressure at 150 works well with 16 g in the laptop.
No more minuscule swap usage and the slow down that goes with that but it leaves approximately 850 M to 1 G always free after 3 days of uptime.
moving to swappiness = 10 to a default of cache pressure of 100 and will see over the weekend what happens after a clean reboot.
cache pressure at 100 isn’t aggressive enough in releasing cache so went to swappiness=10 and cache presure = 125.
I’ll run like this long enough to see if i end up in swap and how much free is left using info center.
