How upgrade Thunderbird to 3.0 on opensuse 11.1?

I can’t find thunderbird 3.0 in the repositories. Where is thunderbird 3.0? Or do i just use the “check for updates” button in thunderbird itself?

Just go to Software.openSUSE.org, select 11.1, enter Thunderbird and click search and you will find the 3.0 package in the Mozilla directory. Check for updates won’t install a different version, it’s only for patches within a certain version, e.g. 2.0.14 to 2.0.15.

Thanks. Two questions:

1. Is this better than doing it through Thunderbird itself with “Check for updates”?

2. How would I do it directly in YAST? What’s the repository?
