How to use Gnome thumbnailer in KDE3?

Hi! I wonder if if possible to use Gnome thumbnailer in KDE3?

Particularly I want it to show a frame from the middle of a video file as a thumbnail rather than from the beginning and show film perforations around the frame when thumbnailing video.

I installed mplayer and dolphin shows what you want, I think.
