hello dear Linux-experts,

how to update ffmpeg to make clipgrab running well !?

note: i run opensuse leap 42.1


The installed version of ffmpeg is outdated.
Downloading 1080p videos from YouTube is not support

can i do some updates via command-line!?

Packman does have the latest released version of ffmpeg.

If that’s too old for you, you’d have to compile it yourself…

What problems are you having with Clipgrab?

I use this and do not see any problems.

Clipgrab uses the package ffmpeg (this is the bit that does the media conversions). You need to do a packman repo switch - see the guide at:
