How to troubleshoot nvidia driver issues?

Right now none of my games work, neither proton games, flatpak based stuff or anything else, but the desktop works fine and so does other things that use the GPU. I updated today everything, did flatpak update for the nvidia fix, but nothing works.
For example, i try to launch game in steam with proton, it starts, the game goes fullscreen, then white, then crashes.
How do i find the error for this? I got the G06 current drivers, none of the G04 or G05 since my GPU is not that old.

@lopultahiisi Did you update the flatpaks, it should be fixed now… If you open a terminal and run flatpak list do you see the org.freedesktop.Platform.GL* files installed?

Nope, no freedesktop platform gl

@lopultahiisi are the flatpaks installed as system or user (far right column in the list output)?

System! d12345

If you run flatpak --system update does it add them back, asssuming you do have an Nvidia driver installed?

Doesn’t seem to add them back. This really confuses me. Does opensuse come with it by default or is it some repo i forgot to add?

@lopultahiisi can you please show the output from flatpak --gl-drivers

nvidia-580-126-18
default
host

@lopultahiisi and does the nvidia version match the rpm version (580.126.18) installed on your system?
