how to tell if committed kde4.2 fix is in?

I have been running 4.2 with updates daily. I found a kde bug - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=185736 and a fix was committed. There have been several big 4.2 updates via the online updater in opensuse over the last week… but my reported problem still exists… I am trying to figure out if there is a way I can determine if the bug fix is in the latest online update, and it doesnt fix the problem, or if it hasnt propagated to the opensuse update.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Read the changelog of the package of the module where the fix was committed. If the last tarball or branch diff update was later than the commit then it’s in. :slight_smile:
