How to share folders between VBox OpenSUSE 11 and Vista host

I’m just a linux newbie and can’t get samba or NFS working. How do I enable folder and file sharing between my VBox installed OS 11.1 and Vista host?

Your help will be gratly appreciated.

“Guest additions” have to be installed on opensuse.

Create a folder for sharing files in vista host.

Then setup vbox virtual machine for using a windows share (just point to the
folder on the vista host you’ve created before) and you’re done :slight_smile:
